How to Use This Sheet

The closeout package is the set of records the owner receives when the work is done. It is how the owner finds the plant again, and missing records are a common reason final payment is held. The lists on this sheet come straight from the Close Out stage and the aerial, underground and splicing closeout steps, so they stay in step with those pages.

Fill It In

  • Tick only the sections for the work on this job. An aerial-only job skips the underground and splicing records.
  • Tick an item only when the record is in the package, in the format the owner asked for.
  • Build as-builts from field redlines, bore logs and photos, never from the design.
  • Attach the signed punch list and the reconciled bill of materials.

Hand It Over

Get a signed receipt or acceptance from the owner, and keep a full copy of the package with the job file.
